Painter painting
I started this one in Adobe Photoshop CS 5, actually. There are simulated brushes in that program and I think I kind of like'm. Then I brought it into Painter to see how I'd feel about that. Time to start using new brushes.

have a preference to painter or CS? i dabbled into Painter once, i just couldn't be troubled to learn the program at the time, i wonder if i should pick it up again.
I prefer Painter to digitally paint (and the other programs for everything else).
Your digital work is lovely; I suspect you'd like Painter and turn out some incredible things if you do give it another try. It does take some getting used to, but it's worth it.
