new sketchbook

First batch of sketches from the new sketchbook. I love this one.
sketchpage_8_21_10
The only small problem I have with it is that it's a little tricky to work on a page spread, or on the left side of the sketchbook since it's a thick softcover book. Getting used to that is a small price to pay for how awesome it is, though.
Lots of observation drawing, some characters, and some tiny bits of Dragon Ball characters in there. Krillin is my favorite.

hmm, you know, i haven't taken a Moleskine and done any spot sketching like that for a while D:
I should make a note to do that more often.
State Fair grounds would be prime!

"OMG there's another one!"

keep up the awesome work Francesca!
I've been loving the comic postings of The Lamplighter!

how did you organize that? getting the short comic published in a book?
-makes a note to come wrack your brain about it more often-

@Chris Pagel

Thank you so much! I'll be sure to have Bulma on the next sketch page : ).
My friend and I are making an anthology with a bunch of friend's comics, and self-publishing it.
Yeah! It's funny, I was just thinking about the state fair today. That would very much be a good place to do some life drawing.
