On a making-fun-art role tonight. Here's another spin on that watercolor and ink painting I made for my mom. I tried using some Photoshop filters and techniques I normally don't, many of them thanks to working with Chris, a Photoshop guru.
These are the last ones from the old sketchbook. I like this new one a lot too, though it's pretty different and I'm still transitioning into it. It's this one, though I got it significantly cheaper at a student art store.
The character heads at the top and bottom are Christopher and Conrad (I posted them before) from the Chrestomanci Chronicles. A couple things from life, an assorted girl character and a mailman.
Made this tiny painting for my mom of my parents' dog. I really like how the watercolor turned out, but I did scan the inks and I'm going to try a few other color things in Painter later.
I was happy with the last watercolor piece I made and wanted to give it another go. This one is for The Super Awesome Art Challenge (you can follow the link for a close-up version of the piece). Watercolor and Ink on 300 lb Cold Press
